Warming Hut
Built by Volunteers
Cooperation and Dedication
A testament to the strength of the Nansen Ski Club community, the Nansen Warming Hut at Milan Hill State Park was built by club members and volunteers in 2016 - 2017 and now welcomes all who enjoy our trail system.

The 780 sq. ft., timber frame, solar-powered home for the club is Wi-Fi-enabled and made cozy by a wood-burning stove.
Members can make use of the changing room and tune-up their gear on the workbench in our equipment room. For newcomers or members without equipment, the club offers a well-maintained collection of skis, boots, poles and snowshoes available for use.
Volunteer hosts are usually on-site on weekends to assist visitors with gear and trail information.

All members are required to familiarize themselves and abide by the club's Warming Hut Use Agreement found here.
